Crashkey Deception

This is for the Thank You Zero Escape project! I love Akane’s duplicitous nature, and definitely believe she is one of the best characters in the series.

One of the most important things about video games is their story. And although Zero Escape isn’t as popular as some other games on the market, what it has going for it is an amazing story. By the end of 999, I felt betrayed and used by Akane. I still wanted to help her despite this though!! Nobody deserves to suffer like that. By the end of the game, it had become so much more than a simple visual novel. The characters were actually alive, and I was so hooked I immediately ordered Virtue’s Last Reward. The time I spent solving those puzzles, listening to their stories, and solving the big mysteries was magical. Akane is now one of my favorite people in the series, she is such a complex character. It wouldn’t be a stretch to call Zero Escape the best DS game series. Thank you Mr. Uchikoshi, for persevering and making the final game. I can’t wait to play it!
